Narimon Safavi
Narimon Safavi is an Iranian-American entrepreneur and commentator. Based in Chicago, he is an analyst for WBEZ’s Worldview, where he contributes insights on global issues, including US-Iran relations. A frequent guest on NPR, PBS, BBC, and Telecinco, Narimon is also an accomplished writer, contributing an essay on Iran to What’s Next? (Yale University Press) in 2011. An intrepid cultural diplomat, he has had leadership roles with the Gene Siskel Film Center, the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and Chicago Public Media. As an entrepreneur, his diverse experience includes ethical diamond initiatives in West Africa, and COSMOPOLIS, an incubator for global cultural entrepreneurship in Chicago.
